Supporting the Next Generation of Counselors Through Motivo

One of the parts of my work that I truly value is clinical supervision. Becoming a licensed counselor involves so much more than completing the required hours. New clinicians need a space where they can ask questions, strengthen their clinical judgment, develop confidence, and grow into their own professional identity.
That is one of the reasons I enjoy supervising through Motivo.
Motivo connects clinicians working toward licensure with vetted supervisors and provides the flexibility of virtual supervision. For clinicians trying to balance work, family, and the many requirements that come with becoming licensed, having accessible and consistent supervision can make the process feel much more manageable.
As an LPC-S and counselor educator, I see supervision as more than simply checking off hours toward licensure. I believe good supervision should provide encouragement, accountability, professional development, and a safe space to work through the challenges that naturally come with becoming a counselor.
Motivo also works with behavioral health organizations that need additional supervision support for their teams, which can help organizations provide quality supervision without having to manage the entire process internally.
If you are an associate working toward licensure and looking for a supervisor, or you are part of an organization that needs additional clinical supervision support, Motivo may be worth exploring.
